Tim is an Auckland based photographer who has been using photography to document his view of the world since the days of film in the 80’s.
With a diverse background in behaviour change, social impact & communication, Tim uses photography as a way to transform complexity into simplicity. He applies a unique sense that reduces a scene to key elements of light & shape, which in turn gives new context to re-see the world around us.
Tim is a busy guy. Living in Auckland, with his wife & several of their 5 adult children, juggling corporate life & photography, Tim was awarded Highly Commended in Australasia’s Top Emerging Photographers in mid 2019, shortly before he had his first solo exhibition here at Turua Gallery.
