Philina is a full time artist living in Oamaru & creator of the stunning range of Platefuls. Philina loves to work with various textures while exploring the use of visual language. Her strong belief that memories from the past or present are all influential & inspirational are the stories she wants to tell.
Her “Platefuls” series uses vintage crockery &, combined with contemporary images, invokes nostalgia and breathes new life into beautiful ceramics. Lucky that she garners so much joy hunting out the perfect vintage cake plate & side dish that result in such stunning pieces.
We have a beautiful, ever changing selection of Philina’s pieces. Her plates can be hung on their own, bought as a collection to hang together, or added to existing collections.
